'Books are like beacons of light opening our world to infinite possibilities.' - Karen S. Robert

Please download the booklists above under the tab “Wednesdays Book Series” to know which book we are discussing each week.

If you like the idea of discussing books you have just read or just want to learn more about a book before you read it, this is the place to be.

Come to any or all sessions!

1st & 3rd Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. – Noon

Each 1st & 3rd Wednesday the Morning Readers have the opportunity to read and discuss anything from the latest bestsellers, classics, traditional literature, and historical fiction, mysteries or non-fiction books. Join us in animated and thoughtful discussion as we explore a variety of diverse and interesting books. As well as create theme events that will challenge and excite you with your reading experience!

All Wednesdays Morning Readers Programs meet at the Morro Bay Library.

2nd Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. – Noon

The 2nd Wednesdays Mystery Readers group meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 10 a.m. – noon. We read and discuss a wide spectrum of mysteries, thrillers and suspense novels. Interested lovers of mysteries are encouraged to come and discuss murder, mayhem and crime!

All 2nd Wednesdays Mystery Readers Programs meet at the Morro Bay Library.

Free Sidewalk Library

I am excited to be a part of the Little Free Library family in which available for you are books that should appeal to all the readers (and soon to be readers) – fiction, non-fiction, mysteries, childrens and teens! This Library belongs to everyone! Anyone may use it – neighbors, friends, and passersby. The books are always FREE. You can: take and read, share with others, return, or leave your own books as donations for others to read! I also provide Group Facilitator books that I have used for our Morro Bay Book Discussion Group at the Morro Bay Library. (Please Note: These books will have writing inside for the various notes/questions I create as the Group Facilitator.) While you are on your walk with your dog(s) there is a place to hook up their leash, give them a treat … and peruse the selection which is refreshed almost daily. This is our way to build community through the sharing of books! Contact me for location.
